PROJECT GUIDELINES

Create a visual system for a hypothetical film festival that celebrates the works of a film director. The content and system shall be branded to represent the style of their films and the thread that connects all aspects of their work.

 

APPROACH

I created a film festival and visual system for director, Richard Linklater. I began my process with thorough research of Linklater’s personal and professional life to curate the thread and narratives of my project. Using these elements as my base, I explored various styles (graphic, type, materials, etc.) in order to develop strong and cohesive systems and deliverables.
